Ludie Catherine Moser Marsh

Mrs. Ludie Catherine Moser Marsh, age 87 of Dobson, widow of Roma Leonard Marsh, passed away Monday, December 11, 2006 at Hugh Chatham Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Marsh was born in Surry County, June 3, 1919 to Charlie and Martha Cranfield Moser. She was retired from Copeland School Cafeteria and attended Level Cross United Methodist Church. Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Janie and Dewey Mooney of State Road; sons and daughters-in-law, Dwain and Kathy Marsh of Galax; Randy Marsh of the home; Tim and Janet Marsh of Belews Creek; four grandchildren; one step grandchild six great-grandchildren; three step great grandchildren, a half sister, Adelaide Spainhour of Dobson; and a half brother, Gray Moser of Baden Lake. Funeral services will be held Thursday December 14, 2006 at 11:00 AM at Level Cross United Methodist Church with services conducted by Rev. Ricky Spence with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday night 6:30 to 8:30 PM at Moody Funeral Home in Mt. Airy where her body will remain until time to be taken to the church to lie in state 30 minutes before the service.
