Lusenia Hall

Mrs. Lusenia Mounce Hall, 83, of Elkin, passed away Saturday, January 5, 2019, at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson.  Mrs. Hall was born September 14, 1935, in Alamance County, to the late Carmel Vance and Alma Hardy Mounce.  She was a member of Welcome Valley Baptist Church and retired from Dobson Drug and Moody Funeral Services. Mrs. Hall is survived by her loving husband, Zane Gray Hall; a daughter and son-in-law, Patricia Hall Bowers and Timothy K. Bowers; two grandchildren and their spouses, Justin and Ashley Bowers and Ashley Bowers Queen and Billy Queen; four great-grandchildren, Jacob Bowers, Hayden Queen, Asher Bowers, and Hailey Queen; a brother and sister-in-law, Carlie and Rita Mounce; a sister and brother-in-law, Lorene and Don Newman; several nieces and nephews; and special friends, Gary and Melanie Carpenter.  The funeral service will be held Tuesday, January 8, 2019, at 2:00 PM at Moody-Davis Funeral Home Chapel in Dobson, with the Rev. Bill Jenkins officiating.  Interment will follow in the Zephyr Cemetery.  The family will receive friends Monday from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home, 945 Zephyr Road, Dobson, NC  27017.
