Luther Cecil Justice, Sr.

Mr. Luther Cecil Justice, Sr. age 94 of Stuart, Virginia passed away on November 22, 2018, at McWhorter Hospice House in Monroe, NC.  He was born in Patrick County on January 27, 1924, to the late Luther Floyd Justice and Elsie Goard Justice.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Bernice Leake Justice; one daughter, Margaret Sharon Silva (John); two brothers and two sisters.  Mr. Justice faithfully served in the Civilian Conservation Corps, VA and the U.S. Army during World War II, where he was awarded a purple heart.

Mr. Justice is survived by one son, Luther Cecil Justice, Jr  "Buddy" and wife, Joan; four grandchildren, Cecilia Fowler(Mark), Tiffany Irvin (Jason), Jill Dryfhout, and Christopher Silva (Carrie); eight great-grandchildren;  and two great-great-grandchildren. 

 Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 28, 2018, at 10:30 AM at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart.  Burial will immediately follow in Henry Memorial Park.  Military Rites will be provided by Martinsville and Henry County Veterans Honor Guard.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Wednesday morning at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Union County, 700 West Roosevelt Blvd, Monroe, NC 28110.  Online condolences may be sent by visiting www.moodyfuneralservices.com.
