Lydia Lynn Roberson

         Ms. Lydia Lynn Roberson, age 60 of Rocky Mount, passed away Friday, August 11, 2023, at the Rocky Mount Health and Rehab.  She was born in Patrick County on December 28, 1962, to the late Gilmer Roberson and Neville Handy Roberson.  Lydia’s hobbies included 4H in her youth and Color Guard while in high school.  She attended Virginia Tech and was an avid Hokie’s fan.

         Surviving are two children, Eric Root (Kirsten) of Indianapolis, IN, Shannon Crawford of Evansville, IN; one grandchild, Raven Crawford; her dear friends, Sherry Carpenter and Karen Alexander; and special caregiver, Wanda Turner.
