Lynda (Hale) Haymore

Mrs. Lynda Lee Hale Haymore, age 81, of Mt. Airy, shook off this mortal coil on Wednesday, December 13, 2023 at Northern Regional Hospital in Mt. Airy after a short battle with cancer.  She was born on April 16, 1942 in Surry County to the late James and Lonnie Mosley Hale. Mrs. Haymore was a die hard Carolina Basketball Fan, loved Wrightsville Beach, and loved traveling the world with her husband, and daughter.  She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who will be missed by all who knew her.  Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Tracie Haymore; son, Chris Haymore; grandchild, Seth Haymore (Ariel); great-grandchildren, Hailey Danielle Haymore, and Adalynn Rose Haymore.  In addition to her parents Mrs. Haymore was preceded in death by her husband, Roger Haymore; granddaughter, Danielle Summer Haymore, and a brother, J.D. Hale Jr.  A graveside service will be held on Thursday, December 21, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Skyline Memory Gardens with service conducted by Rev. Kennette Thomas.  The family will receive friends from 12:30 until time to leave for the service at Moody Funeral Home in Mt. Airy  Many thanks to Lauren, Amber, Jessica, and the rest of the nursing staff of the fourth-floor-step-down unit at Northern Regional Hospital for their wonderful care of Lynda during her illness. Lynda’s family thanks you from the bottom of their hearts.
