Lynn Fortner Ramsey

Mrs. Lynn Fortner Ramsey, age 52, of Dobson, passed away Thursday, September 2, 2021, at her residence. She was born December 9, 1968, in Surry County to the late Wanda York Fortner and the late Wayne Fortner. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Jay Burrett York and Viola Coe York, and her paternal grandparents, Clyde E. Fortner and Vesi Hice Fortner. Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Davey Len Ramsey and many aunts, uncles and cousins. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, September 5, 2021, in the Crossroads Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor Jay Ledbetter and Elder Lacy Mayes officiating. There will be no services held at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mountain Valley Hospice, 401 Technology Lane, Suite 200, Mount Airy NC 27030. Moody-Davis Funeral Service in Dobson is serving the Ramsey family.
