Mack Kenneth McBride

Mr. Mack Kenneth McBride, age 65 of Mt. Airy, passed away Friday, August 17, 2007 at Central Continuing Care surrounded by his family. Mr. McBride was born in Patrick County, June 7, 1942 to Arthur and Ada Inman McBride. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during the Vietnam War and was retired from Pine State Knitwear. Surviving are one sister and brother-in-law Pearly and Arthur Scott of Ararat, VA. and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents Mr. McBride was preceded in death by five brothers Leonard McBride, Ernest McBride, Jim McBride, Bobby McBride and Sebron McBride. Graveside services will be held Monday August 20, 2007 at 2:00 PM at Unity Church Cemetery with full military rites conducted by the VFW Memorial Honor Guard Mt. Airy Post 2019 and Pilot Mountain Post 9436. The family will receive friends Sunday night 7 to 9 P.M. at Moody Funeral Home in Mt. Airy. The family would like to give a special thank you to the Central Continuing Care Nursing Staff and to the Mountain Valley Hospice for all there help and care.
