Magdalene Brintle Edmonds

Mrs. Magdalene Brintle Edmonds, age 91, of Mount Airy, NC, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 30, 2022. She was born in Mount Airy, NC to the  late Jerry Wilson and Ellen Dollyhigh Brintle on April 6, 1930. Left to cherish her memories are her daughter, Shirley May of Mount Airy; daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Junior Wilmoth of Dobson; and her son, Ronnie Edmonds, of the home; one granddaughter, Michele Wilmoth; one great-grandson, Jayden Clay; two sisters, Nancy Culler and Ila Mae Creed; and several nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Mary Harvey. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Luther Edmonds; her brother, Junior Brintle; her sister, Aline Fletcher; her son-in-law, Willard May; and her grandson Jason Wilmoth. Visitation will be Sunday, April 3, 2022, from 1:30-3:00 PM at New Home Church of Christ. Services will begin at 3:00 PM with Brother Tim Smith and Brother Keith Jones officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family wishes to offer a special thanks to Mountain Valley Hospice and Palliative Care. Moody-Davis Funeral Service in Dobson is serving the Edmonds family.
