Maggie Jean Harris Lineback

Mrs. Maggie Jean Harris Lineback, 74, of Mount Airy, passed away Friday, May 1, 2009, at Northern Hospital of Surry County. Mrs. Lineback was born April 26, 1935, in Surry County, to the late Mattie Harris. She was a homemaker and a loving mother and grandmother. Mrs. Lineback is survived by three daughters and a son-in-law, Fern Lineback Wall and Regina Lynn Walters, both of Mount Airy, and Lisa and Tommy Asbell of Southport; five sons, Bobby James Lineback, James Robert Bowman, Brian Keith Bowman, James Henry Lineback, Jr., and Edwin Foster Lineback, all of Mount Airy; eighteen grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren. In addition to her mother, Mrs. Lineback was preceded in death by her husband, James Henry Lineback. The funeral service will be held Monday, May 4, 2009, at 11:00 AM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mount Airy, with the Rev. Zane Fishel officiating. Burial will follow at Skyline Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Sunday, May 3, 2009, from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
