Mallie Marie Stevens

Mrs. Mallie Marie Norman Stevens, 96, of Mt. Airy passed away Wednesday, July 29, 2020 at Central Continuing Care in Mt. Airy.  She was born in Surry County on January 3, 1924 to the late Ed and Annie Anderson Norman.  Mrs. Stevens was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who will be dearly missed.  She is survived by a daughter, Annette Isaac; a son and daughter-in-law, Earl and Ruby Stevens; grandchildren, Eric and Tonya Stevens, Kevin and Jackie Stevens, Brent and Danille Marshall, and Destiny Isaac; great grandchildren, Addie Marshall, Brooklyn Marshall, and Benton Stevens; a sister and brother-in-law, Jane and Jimmy McMillian; many nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents Mrs. Stevens was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Cephus Stevens; a sister, Nellie Daniels, brothers, Fred Norman, and Aldie Norman.  A graveside service will be held Friday, July 31, 2020 at 10:00 AM at Skyline Memory Gardens with the Rev. Ed Bowman officiating.  There will not be a formal visitation at the funeral home.  Moody Funeral Services in Mt.
