Marcia Adkins Wickline

Mrs. Marcia Adkins Wickline, 61, of Mount Airy, passed away Saturday, April 2, 2011, at Northern Hospital of Surry County. Mrs. Wickline was born November 3, 1949, in Elton, WV, to the late Herbert and Mary Lucille Bryant Adkins. She retired from Golden Living Center and was a member of Faith Baptist Church. Mrs. Wickline is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Annalisa and Steve Davis and Mary Beall, all of Mount Airy; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Daren Wickline of Mount Airy and Thomas, Jr. and Eileen Wickline of the Philippines; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Hope Ames and Roselee and James Goddard, all of West Virginia; three brothers and a sister-in-law, Mark and Arlene Adkins, Norman Adkins, and Wilson Bryant, all of West Virginia; and several nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be held Tuesday, April 5, 2011, at 2:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mount Airy, with the Rev. Randy Edwards officiating. Burial will follow in The Peoples Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
