Marcus Luke Crabtree

Mr. Marcus Luke Crabtree, 32, of 1767 Fancy Gap Road, Mount Airy, passed away Friday night, November 8, 2013, in Hickman County, TN. Mr. Crabtree was born September 29, 1981, in Franklin, TN, to Marcus Frank Crabtree and Evelyn Joy Brown Serena. Luke was employed as a construction foreman at Innovation Design Construction Company. He is survived by his mother, Evelyn Joy Brown Serena of Mount Airy; his father, Marcus Frank Crabtree of Columbia, TN; two sisters, Ashley Joy Serena and Bobbie Jean Serena, both of Mount Airy; his maternal grandmother, Bobbie Jean Brown of Valdese; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. The funeral service will be held Tuesday, November 12, 2013, at 2:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mount Airy, with the Rev. Kevin Combs officiating. Burial will follow at Skyline Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 12:30 until 2:00 PM at the funeral home.
