Marcus Early Mickey

Mr. Marcus Early Mickey, age 73, of Mount Airy, passed away, Sunday, July 10, 2022, at his residence, He was born January 16, 1949, in Pulaski Va. To the late Henry Mickey and the late Martha Robertson Mickey. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Teresa Ellen Kingrea Mickey; his son, Gregory Marcus Mickey; his sisters, Sue O’Dell and Diane Alexander; and his brother, Roy Micky. Left to cherish his memories are his daughter and son-in-law, Crystal and Mikey Pruitt; adopted in love daughter, Annette Booker; grandchildren, Derek Browder (Bekah), Lana Brown (Dillion), Lexy Mickey, Madison Mickey, and adopted in love grandchildren, Kellie and Wayne Snow; great grandchildren, Bentley Browder, Hudson Brown, Rilynn Browder, Elijah Donathan and Nash Brown; and adopted in love, great granddaughter, Elsie Snow; a  sister, Carolyn Mickey Hodges; and a brother, Colin Mickey. Visitation will be Thursday, July 14, 2022, from 11:00 AM till the time of service at Moody-Davis Funeral Service. Services will begin at noon in the Moody-Davis Chapel with Rev. Tony White and Rev/ Robin Sides Officiating. Burial will follow in Union Hill Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at other times at 219 Gray Lane, Mount Airy NC 27030. Moody-Davis Funeral Service in Dobson is serving the Mickey family.
