Margaret Frances Edmonds

Mrs. Margaret Hauser Goins Edmonds, age 89, passed away Thursday, February 4, 2021, at Wilkes Health and Rehabilitation. She was born June  1, 1931, in Surry County to the late George Washington Hauser Sr. and Betty Lou Holston Hauser. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, George Willis Goins, Clandice Atkins, and Doc Edmonds; son, Ricky Joseph Goins; son-in-law, David  “Sandy” Bledsoe; sisters, Edith Jones, Dorothy McGee and Rudy Hodges; and her brother, George Washington Hauser Jr. Mrs. Edmonds is survived by her daughters and son-in-law, Brenda Goins Bledsoe and Frances and Mike McMillan; sons and daughters-in-law, Roger Dale and Terry Goins, Randy Dean Sr.  and Vicki Goins, and Laura Goins; eleven grandchildren, nine great- grandchildren and three great -great- grandchildren. Mrs. Edmonds was retired from Renfro and a member of Northside Baptist Church. Visitation will be Tuesday, February 9, 2021 from 1-2:00 PM at Moody-Davis Funeral Service. A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. in the Moody-Davis Chapel with Rev. Arlis Thomas officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home, 945 Zephyr Road, Dobson NC 27017 or to the SECU Family House, 1970 Baldwin Lane, Winston Salem NC 27103. Anyone attending the services are asked to wear a mask and follow safe social distancing practices.
