Margaret Edith Badgett Snow Fulk, age 102, went to her heavenly home on Friday, October 7, 2022.
Edith loved her Lord, her family, friends, and her church. She was generous and loving, never unkind or complaining. She had a wonderful laugh and a great sense of humor. Her table was always overflowing with delicious home-grown food, and there was always room for one more. She sewed beautifully, making wedding and prom dresses for friends in the community, and taught sewing classes at Surry Community College. She lived her life with tremendous grace and strength and was a beautiful role model for all around her.
Edith was born in Surry County on April 18, 1920, to the late William Presley Badgett and Cora Emma Collins Badgett. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert Glenn Snow; her second husband, Gray Fulk; sisters, Mildred Wall, Mary Ruth Badgett; and a brother, Rex Badgett. Left to cherish her memories are her daughters and sons-in-law, Margaret Gay Snow Denny and Phillip Dale Denny, Carolyn Snow Harbour and Donald Harbour; Jill Glendora Snow Dillon and Joseph H. Dillon, Jr.; grandchildren, Dr. Elizabeth Denny Brown and Churchill Brown III; Sarah Denny Gordon and Scott Gordon; Susan Harbour Jordan and Jeff Jordan, Gregory Glenn Harbour and Pamela Harbour, Joshua Snow Wilmoth and significant other, Mariel Hartley, Jessica Caroline Dillon, Joseph H. Dillon III and Deanna Dillon; thirteen great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; sister, Ethel Hobson; brother and sister-in-law, Bob Badgett and Edith Badgett; and many friends and neighbors.
The family would like to give a special thanks to Priddy Manor Assisted Living and Trellis Supportive Care for the love and care given to their mother.
