Margaret Elaine Ramey Hill

Mrs. Margaret Elaine Ramey Hill, 47, of Cana, VA, passed away Tuesday, December 9, 2008, at Northern Hospital of Surry County. Mrs. Hill was born July 24, 1961, in Surry County, to the late Clyde Joseph and Mamie Pelba Golding Ramey. She is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Sarah Hill and Robby Shinault of Mount Airy and Hope Hill of Cana, VA; two grandchildren, William Jay Shinault and Timothy Lane Hill; a sister, Mary Elizabeth Ramey Hill of Cana, VA; a brother-in-law, Edward Earl Hill of Mount Airy; and a brother, Clyde Gene Ramey of Cana, VA. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hill was preceded in death by her husband, Timothy Hill. The funeral service will be held Friday, December 12, 2008, at 2:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mount Airy. The service will be conducted by the Rev. Jimmy McCraw, and burial will follow in the Golding Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 7:00 until 9:00 at the funeral home.
