Margaret Virginia Pruett McHone

Mrs. Margaret Virginia Pruett McHone, 82, of 1703 North Main Street, Mount Airy, passed away Saturday, August 26, 2006, at her home. Mrs. McHone was born March 1, 1924, in Surry County, to the late George Edward and Eunice Westmoreland Pruett. She was a homemaker and a faithful member of Grace Moravian Church. She is survived by a sister, Jessie Pruett Jones of Mount Airy; and a brother and sister-in-law, Gary and Mary Ann Pruett of Mount Airy. In addition to her parents, Mrs. McHone was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard McHone; a sister, Edith McHone; and a brother, George Edward Pruett, Jr. The funeral service will be held Monday, August 28, 2006, at 2:00 PM at Grace Moravian Church. The service will be conducted by the Rev. Timothy Byerly. Burial will follow in God's Acre. The family will greet friends Sunday from 7:00 to 9:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home in Mount Airy.
