Margaret Violet O'Neal

Mrs. Margaret “Violet” Edwards O’Neal, age 93, of Pfafftown, passed away Sunday, May 27, 2018, at Village Care of King.  Mrs. O’Neal was born in Carroll County, on June 18, 1924, to John Thomas and Hassie Gwynn Edwards.  She was a retired registered nurse.  Surviving is a son and daughter-in-law, Paul O’Neal, Jr. and Lucy; grandchildren, Paul O’Neal III, and wife Angela, Margaret “Maggie” O’Neal, Robert O’Neal and wife Josey, and Michael O’Neal; great-grandchildren, Ginny, Haley, Anna, and Daulton; a brother and sister-in-law, Jack and Ruby Edwards and a niece, Jeanne Edwards.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. O’Neal was preceded in death by her husband, Paul O’Neal, Sr.; brothers, John Edwards, Jr., and William Edwards; and a sister, Ida Edwards.  A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, June 3, 2018, at Moody Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Chuck Harmon officiating.  Burial will follow in Willow Hill Moravian Church Graveyard.  The family will receive friends Sunday at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
