Margaret Ann Humphreys Shores

Mrs. Margaret Ann Humphreys Shores, age 42 of Mt. Airy, loving wife of Donald Shores, passed away Sunday, June 17, 2007 at Northern Hospital of Surry County. Mrs. Shores was born in Surry County, July 20, 1964 to Linda Ayers Nichols and Jerry Humphreys. She was a loving wife, mother, sister and friend to all who knew her. Surviving is her devoted husband, Donald Shores of the home; a daughter, Amanda Dawn Hawks of Ararat, VA; her mother and special stepfather, Linda and Pete Nichols of Mt. Airy; her father, Jerry Humphreys also of Mt. Airy; a brother and sister-in-law, Jeff and Tina Whitaker of Mt. Airy and a special sister-in-law, Betsy Ford. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, June 19, 2007 at Moody Funeral Home Chapel, conducted by Nancy Warner. Burial will follow in Charity Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday night from 7:00 to 9:00 at the funeral home and at other times at her mother's home, 133 Galyean Rd.
