Margaret Horning Stone

Mrs. Margaret Horning Stone age 70 of 407 Ararat Hwy, Ararat, VA, widow of Ralph Robert Stone, Sr. passed away on Monday at the Hospice and Palliative Care Center of Alamance-Caswell in Burlington. Mrs. Stone was born in Kittery Maine on July 8, 1937 daughter of the late George Horning, Sr. and Lena Roberts Horning was of the Baptist faith and was retired from Pine State Knit Wear. Surviving are three daughters and sons-in-law, Teri and Doug Zachary of Graham, Karen and Larry Goins of Ararat, VA and Debbie and Billy Braddy of Burlington; two sons and daughters-in-law, Ralph Robert Stone, Jr. and Christina of Hickory and Brian and Tammy Stone of Ararat, VA; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and her pet companion, Paisley. In addition to her parents Mrs. Stone was preceded in death by a brother, George Horning, Jr. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 3, 2007 at 11:00 AM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel. The service will be conducted by Rev. Ricky Rogers with burial to follow in Skyline Memory Gardens.
