Margaretha White Cockerham Bullen

Mrs. Margaretha White Cockerham Bullen, age 92, of Dobson, NC passed away on Tuesday, July 26, 2022.  She was born in Surry County on September 18, 1929, to the late Guy Suttle White and Marjorie Osborne White.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by the father of her children, John Bert Cockerham, and her second husband Wilbur Bullen; a brother Donald White.  Margaretha loved her church, family and friends, traveling, and a good card game.  Surviving are her daughters and sons-in-laws, Cathy and Louis Taylor, Beth and Dale Snow; sons and daughter-in-law, Michael Cockerham and his special friend, Marcia Holcomb, Johnny Bert and Tina Cockerham; grandchildren, Matthew and Amanda Cox, Jennifer and Dale Casstevens, Mitchell Cockerham, Emily and Jim Boatright, Jodi Dearmin, Matthew and Cameron Cockerham, Katie Younger-Cole and Cody Cole, Josh Snow, Amelia and Joe White, John Morgan Cockerham; nine great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.  A graveside service will be held 10:00 AM Thursday, July 28, 2022, in the cemetery of Rocky Ford Baptist Church, Rev. Joe Lambert will conduct the graveside service.  In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Rocky Ford Baptist Church C/O Claude Lloyd 312 Logan Rd. State Road, NC 28676 or to Gum Orchard Baptist Church C/O Barry Martin 171 Columbus Lane Elkin, NC 28621.  There will be no services held at Moody-Davis Funeral Home.
