Ms. Margie Puckett Hall, 76, of 1084 Maple Grove Church Road, Mount Airy, passed away Saturday morning, March 27, 2010, at Golden Living Center-Surry Community. She was born May 26, 1933, in Surry County, to the late Dock Franklin and Ola Davis Puckett. She retired from Sara Lee and was a homemaker. Surviving are three sons and two daughters-in-law, Carroll Wayne and Wanda Hall of Mount Airy, Kenneth Lane Hall of the home, and Steven and Susie Hall of Mount Airy; four grandchildren and two spouses, Bambi and Terry Craver of Yadkinville, Kimberly Hall and her fiance, Marc Driggers, of Mount Airy, Steven Blaine and Jessie Hall of Pilot Mountain, and Stephanie Hall of Mount Airy; three great-grandchildren, Katie Hall, Kameron Hall, and Sydney Craver; a sister, Marie Easter of King; and two brothers and sisters-in-law, Major and Delta Puckett and Manuel and Jane Puckett, all of Mount Airy. In addition to her parents, Ms. Hall was preceded in death by the father of her children, Charles Hall; and two brothers, Joe Puckett and Harvey Puckett. The funeral service will be held Monday, March 29, 2010, at 2:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mount Airy, with Mrs. Mary Lynn Holder and the Rev. Grover Jarrell officiating. Burial will follow in the Crooked Oak Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday from 12:30 to 2:00 PM at the funeral home.
