Marion Goins

        Mr. Marion Goins, age 76 of Meadows of Dan, Virginia passed away on Friday, June 1, 2018, at his home.  He was born in Stoneville, North Carolina on October 4, 1941, to the late Harry I. Goins and Florence Goins.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Avin Goins.

        Mr. Goins is survived by his loving wife, Betty Handy Goins of the home; one son, Clarence Goins of Meadows of Dan; one grandson, Eddie Goins; two sisters, Polly Johnson of Madison, North Carolina and Pauline Goins of Stoneville, North Carolina; four nieces and two nephews.

        Funeral services for Mr. Goins will be held on Monday, June 4, 2018, at 2:00 pm at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Stuart with Pastor Jonathan Goins officiating.  Burial will be in Patrick Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.  Online condolences may be sent by visiting www.moodyfuneralservices.com.
