Marion Loraine Brunk Whittington

Mrs. Marion Loraine Brunk Whittington, age 65, Ararat, NC passed away on Thursday January 27, 2022, at Northern Regional Hospital in Mt. Airy, NC.  She was born in Cleveland Ohio Cuyahoga County on November 30, 1956, to the late Elmer Brunk and the late Betty Hall Metzger.  She was retired from Cross Creek Apparel.   In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Beulah Newsham, Sylvia Vehihaber.

Surviving is her husband, Glenn Whittington; daughter and son-in-law, Melissa and Chad Wolfe, Mariah Whittington; son and daughter-in-law, Casey and Krystal Whittington; five grandchildren, Austin Nunn, Hunter Nunn, “Little” Casey Whittington, Michael Kightlinger, Walker Bost;  brothers and sisters-in-law, Tom and Debbie Brunk, Joe and Eva Brunk, Freddie and Marisol Brunk; special niece, Shelia Carter; mother-in-law, Leona Morgan; several brothers-in-laws and sisters-in-laws;  A graveside service will be held 2:00 PM Monday January 31, 2022, in the cemetery of Old Pine Hill Baptist Church, Siloam, NC.  There will be no formal services held at Moody-Davis Funeral Home.
