Martha Margaret Gammons Jones

Mrs. Martha Margaret Gammons Jones, 76, of Mt. Airy, passed away at her home on Monday, July 4, 2016. She was born in Surry County on May 25 1940 to the late Henry Ellis and Nancy Hallie Gammons. Mrs. Jones retired from Quality Mills and was a member of True Vine Baptist Church. She is survived by her daughter and sons-in-law, Deborah “Debbie” and Darren Willard, Dayton Worrell; six grandchildren; many great grandchildren; a sister and brother-in-law, Juanita and Bob Easter; a brother, Franklin Gammon. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Jones was preceded in death by her husband, James Roland Jones; a daughter, Frankie Worrell; a son, James Jones; sister, Ruby Gammon; brothers, Everett, Billy and Ollis Gammons.
