Martha Tucker

Mrs. Martha Antoinette Inman Tucker, 74, of Pleasant Garden, formerly of Mount Airy, passed away Wednesday morning, May 19, 2021, at Clapps Nursing Center.  She was born June 13, 1946, in Forsyth County, to the late Samuel Maurice and Hazel Martha Antoinette Wolfe Inman.  Martha was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.  She will be deeply missed by all that knew her.  She retired from Renfro Corporation in Mount Airy and later retired as manager from AAA Storage in High Point.  Left to cherish her memories are her sons and daughter-in-law, Mike and Sharon Tucker and Randall Tucker; a grandson, Jared Tucker; two sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Ruth Inman, Sharon and Weldon Lambert, and Junior Moorefield; and several nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Tucker was preceded in death by her husband, Lester Clinton Tucker; a brother, Samuel Morris Inman; and a sister-in-law, Vickie Moorefield.  The funeral service will be held Saturday, May 22, 2021, at 11:00 AM at Sulphur Springs Baptist Church, with the Rev. Ronnie Chamblin, Jr. officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends Saturday from 10:00 until 11:00 AM at the church.  Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy is serving the family.
