Martin Brady Sizemore

Martin Brady Sizemore, 13, of Mt. Airy passed away unexpectedly at his home Saturday, May 28, 2016. He was born in Galax, VA on September 26, 2002. Brady, a seventh grade student, at Gentry Middle School who loved his family and friends was always smiling and ready to greet you with a hug. He played basketball and golf, he enjoyed fishing and hunting and dreamed of serving in the U.S. Marines. He was considerate of those who have previously served in the military and never hesitated to take the time to shake their hand and thank them for their service. Brady faithfully attended Amazing Grace Baptist Church. He is survived by his parents, Nicole Boyer Atkins and Kevin, and Marty Wayne Sizemore; a sister, Andrea Paige Sizemore; loving grandparents, David and Pam Boyer, he called, Paw Paw and Nana, Gray and Betty Atkins he called Pops and Mamo, Mildred Webb, Steve and Sharon Price; special people he called grandparents, Charles and Joyce Dickson; aunts, uncles and cousins, Alan and Heather Boyer and children, Bella, Bleu, and Bode, Bryan and Leah Boyer and children, Eagan and Cannon, Kim and Benny Bruner and daughter, Emily, a special cousin, Victoria Beckner, Sarah Gobble and son, Caleb, Nathan Webb, Justin Price and son, Colden, Ryan and Maggie Turner and son, Nolen. Funeral services will be held at 4:30 PM on Tuesday, May 31, 2016 at Amazing Grace Baptist Church 1053 Blevins Store Rd., Mt. Airy with Pastor Jonathan Barker, Rev. Ben Haga and Rev. Joe Atkins officiating. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church on Tuesday from 2:00 PM until the time of the service.
