Marvin H. Bledsoe, Jr.

Mr. Marvin H. Bledsoe, Jr., 63, of Siloam, passed away Thursday, September 26, 2019, at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem.  Mr. Bledsoe was born May 12, 1956, in Surry County, to Marvin H. Bledsoe, Sr. and the late Jessie Boyles Bledsoe.  Marvin retired as a welder from Insteel Wire Products after 25 years of service.  He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather, who will be missed by all who knew him.  He is survived by his wife, Rhonda Jones Bledsoe; two daughters and sons-in-law, Brandi and Travis Anders and Mandi and Adam Hiatt; three sons and daughters-in-law, Corey and Kristal Bledsoe, Anthony and Amanda Jones, and Matthew and Jessica Leonard; sixteen grandchildren and one on the way; his father and stepmother, Marvin H. Bledsoe, Sr. and Audrey Bledsoe; and two brothers and sisters-in-law, Tim and Alison Bledsoe and Jeremy and Tiffany Bledsoe.  In addition to his mother, Mr. Bledsoe was preceded in death by a daughter, Carrie Bledsoe; and a brother, Sandy Bledsoe.  The funeral service will be held Tuesday, October 1, 2019, at 3:00 PM at Midway Baptist Church, with the Rev. Terry Coe officiating.  Burial will follow at Skyline Memory Gardens.  The family will receive friends Tuesday from 2:00 until 3:00 PM at the church.
