Marvin Driskill Sr.

Mr. Marvin Douglas Driskill Sr., age 83, of Mt. Airy, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, April 2, 2021 at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem.  He was born on July 27, 1937 in Prince Edward County to the late George Hall and Edith Wayne Driskill.  He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather who will surely be missed by all who knew him.  Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Margie Stacy Driskill of the home; daughter and son-in-law, Edith Driskill Strauser and husband Billy; son and daughter-in-law, Douglas Jr. and wife Cindy; grandchildren, Daniel Driskill and wife, Audrey, Leslie Marshal and husband Matt, Shane Snider, Britany Snider; six grandchildren.  In addition to his parents, Mr. Driskill was preceded in death by a grandchild, Matthew Driskill, sisters, Audrey Epps, Maxine Woodard; brothers, George and Robert Driskill.  A funeral service will be held on Monday, April 5, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mt. Airy.
