Mary Ann Burnett

Miss Mary Ann Burnett, 64, of Mount Airy and Durham, passed away on April 13, 2020 at Murdoch Developmental Center in Butner, NC of natural causes.  She was born in Mount Airy, December 9, 1955 to the late Jimmy and Rebecca (Quesenberry) Burnett.  Miss Burnett lived in the Murdoch Developmental Center since she was 23 years old.  She is survived by her brother, Curtis L. Burnett and sister-in-law, Leslie S. Burnett of Lexington, SC; an acknowledged sister-in-law and best friend, Donna Lawrence Shelton; three nephews, Travis L. Burnett all of Mount Airy, Jamie Newly Burnett of Ararat, VA, and Bryan O. Burnett of Pelion, SC; eight great nieces and nephews, and one great-great niece.  Due to the limitations of numbers for public gatherings at this time (COVID-19), a private entombment service will be held at Skyline Memory Garden and Mausoleum.  Online condolences may be made at www.moodyfuneralservices.com.
