Mary Louise Carr

Mrs. Mary Louise Beshears Carr, 85, of Mount Airy, passed away peacefully Friday, November 30, 2018.  She was born on September 14, 1933 in Lagrange, NC to the late Ed and Sarah Ward Lane.  She was a loving wife to Donald Carr, who preceded her in death.  She was a caring mother of two, James Beshears of WV and a daughter, Cebie Lane Surmanek and son-in-law, Ralph Surmanek, who both preceded her in death.  Mrs. Carr will forever be cherished by her six grandchildren, Deborah Lewis Mitchell of Mount Airy, Jasen Surmanek and wife Lindsey of Hillsville, VA, Cara Surmanek and Joseph both of Mount Airy, Aaron Beshears and wife Felicia of WV, and Richard Urick and wife Kady of PA.  She was blessed with eight great-grandchildren and was especially close to Harley and Kailey Lewis of Mount Airy.  The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 8, 2018 from 11:00 until 12:00 at Moody Funeral Home in Mount Airy.
