Mary McBride Coleman Childress

Mary Lee Coleman McBride Childress, 81, of Dobson, North Carolina passed away peacefully at her home March 9, 2025. Born June 11, 1943, to the late Frank and Dolly Mayhon Coleman in West Virginia. Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Kathy McBride; grandson, Steven Lowe; and sister, Loretta Burnell. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Wayne McBride; son Johnny McBride; grandchild, Tammy Lowe; sister, Arbutus Phillips, Ethel Ables, Geraldine McBride, and Rosetta Griffith; and brothers, Kenneth Coleman, and Roger Coleman. The family will receive friends Friday, March 14, 2025, at Moody-Davis Funeral Service from 11:00 until 12:00 PM. A funeral service will be held Friday, March 14, 2025, in the Moody-Davis Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Blueridge Baptist Church Cemetery in Mount Airy, NC.
