Mary Haynes

Mrs. Mary Franklin Jessup Haynes, 84, of Mt. Airy passed away Tuesday, April 20, 2021 at her home.  She was born in Surry County on September 22, 1936 to the late Ora Wayne and Versa Mae East Jessup.  Mrs. Haynes was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who will be dearly missed.  She is survived by a daughter, Debbie Haynes; a son and daughter-in-law, Billy and Jill Haynes; grandchildren, Cory Haynes, Casey Haynes, Will Glass, and Ali Bingman; sisters, Anna Cannon, Sue Jessup, and Wanda Martin; brothers and sisters-in-law, Charles and Darlene Jessup, Weldon and Ann Jessup, and Larry Jessup; many nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Haynes was preceded in death by her husband, William Donald Haynes; sisters, Nina Mae Brewer, Shirley Ryan, Ruth Haynes, and Janet Harris; brothers, Clifton Jessup, Junior Jessup, and Paul Jessup.  A graveside service will be held Friday, April 23, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Skyline Memory Gardens with the Rev.
