Mary Elma Graves

Ms. Mary Elma “Meg” Graves, of Mount Airy, died Friday, December 6, 2019, at Sharon Towers in Charlotte.  Born November 15, 1955, in Mount Airy, Meg was the daughter of the late Ben K. and Barbara W. Graves.  She is survived by her son, Charles “Chas” Graves of Mount Airy; a sister, Ann Martin (Conrad) of Mount Airy; and a brother, Kelly Graves (Meredith) of Charlotte.  Meg attended the Mount Airy public schools, Peace College, and Guilford College.  A family memorial service was held Monday, December 9, 2019, at Moody Funeral Home in Mount Airy.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Surry Community College Foundation, Inc., 630 South Main Street, Dobson, NC  27017 (please specify “For EMS Programs in memory of Meg Graves”).
