Mary Frances Pinnix Martin Holder

Mary Frances Pinnix Martin Holder of Indian Lake Estates, Fla. died July 25, 2007 of heart failure. She was born on August 10, 1928 to Grady and Maude Pinnix, in Yadkin County, N.C. She was a retired nurse and former restaurant owner. She moved to Indian Lake Estates thirteen years ago from Dobson, N.C. She is survived by her husband, Rev. James E. Holder of the home; two sons, James Darrel Martin of Dobson, N.C. and Robert Douglas Martin of Indian Lake Estates, Fla.; one step-son, James David Holder of Gaffney, S.C.; one sister, Dorothy Dorsett of Morehead City, N.C.; two granddaughters, one grandson, one step-grandson, one great- granddaughter, four nieces, and two nephews. Mrs. Holder is preceded in death by her former husband, James Robert Martin; a daughter, Denise Martin; a grandson, Jarret Martin; and a sister, Frederica Holcomb. Memorial services will be held on Monday, August 6, 2007 at 2:30 pm at Park Hills Baptist Church, in Gaffney, S.C. where she was a member. The burial will be in the Dobson City Cemetery, in Dobson, N.C. on Tuesday, August 7, 2007 at 2:30 pm.
