Mrs. Mary Norman Edwards Inman, age 90 of 325 Bluemont Rd. Mt. Airy, widow of Mr. Roscoe "Tobe" Inman passed away at Surry Community Nursing January 25, 2007. Mrs. Inman was born March 30, 1916 in Surry County to the late Frank and Nettie Wagoner Norman. Mrs. Inman was retired from Renfro Corporation after 45 years of service and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Surviving are two daughters and son-in-law Nancy Lovill of Mt. Airy and Johnnie Mae and J. C. Capell of New Tazewell, TN., One son and daughter-in-law Jimmy and Shirley Edwards of Mt. Airy, five grandchildren and spouses John and Yvonne Edwards of Mt. Airy, Kathy and Boyd Sterne of Stafford, VA., Jamie and Chuck Ramsburg of Wilmington, Betsy and Phil Pritchard of Asheboro and Julie and Allan Richardson of Wilmington, five great grandchildren Clay Ashby, Will Ashby, Brian Bloom, David Bloom and Jennifer Simile, one step great grandson Nick Ramsburg, two great great grandchildren Clay Ashby and Sally Ashby, four sisters and brothers-in-law Violet and Roy Kelly of High Point, Maxine and Guy Panetta, Simi Valley, CA., Betty Johnson of Myrtle Beach, SC. and Georgia and Ray Martin of North Hollywood, CA. and by one brother and sister-in-law Carl and Virginia Norman of Mt. Airy. In addition to her parents and husband Mrs. Inman was preceded in death by her first husband Ernest Alfred Edwards, three grandsons Jesse Duncan, Scott Duncan and Ben Duncan, buy one sister Irene Mabe Curry and by six brothers Norris Norman, Arthur Norman, Elmer Norman, Raymond "Buddy" Norman, Bobby Norman and Billy Norman, a daughter-in-law Jean Platt Edwards and by a son-in-law Ben Lovill. A graveside service will be held Sunday January 28, 2007 at 2:00 P.M. at Skyline Memory Gardens with services conducted by Dr. Wayne Hager. The family will receive friends at Moody Funeral Home in Mt. Airy, Sunday from 12:00 P.M. until time to go to the cemetery for the service. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the donors choice.
