Mary Moore Lawson Lee

Mrs. Mary Moore Lawson Lee, age 68 of Dobson, passed away Monday, August 13, 2007 at Forsyth Medical Center. Mrs. Lee was born July 1, 1939 in Huntsville, AL to Carl and Geneva Moore Rawls. She was a retired Respiratory Therapist and was a member of Exodus Progressive Primitive Baptist Church. Mrs. Lee really enjoyed fishing and listening to all types of music. Surviving are three daughters and a son-in-law, Desiree Moore of Chicago, IL, Minister Terry Smith of New Jersey and Linda and Tony Chambers of Dobson; two sons, Wayne Moore of Chicago, IL and Vincent Lawson of Las Vegas, NV, ten grandchildren, Lashele Lawson, Robert Lawson, Wayne Chambers, Antonia Chambers Stewart, Samantha Brown, Chris Moore, Kelsye Moore, Cherisse Lawson, Monica Lawson, Nichlos Lawson; seven great grandchildren and Herbert Lawson of Cleveland, OH. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Lee was preceded in death by a son Victor Moore; a granddaughter Jessica Chambers and by a brother James Raymond Moore. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, August 16, 2007 at Exodus Progressive Primitive Baptist Church. The service will be officiated by Rev. Dale Gibson and the eulogist will be Rev. Timothy L. Lyons. Burial will follow in Locust Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday from 1:00 PM until time for the service at the church.
