Mary Simpson Lewis

Mrs. Mary Simpson Lewis, age 64 of Patrick Springs, passed away Tuesday, January 18, 2022, at Carillion Roanoke Memorial Hospital. She was born in Pittsylvania County on October 5, 1957, to the late Kenny Gene Simpson and Ocie Simpson Meredith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her stepfather, Clinton Meredith; one sister, Jewel Simpson; and one brother, Kenneth Gene Simpson. Mary was a member of Stella Christian Church and was active in helping with various ministries. She loved shopping and keeping everything organized.

Surviving is her husband of 39 years, Jerry Franklin Lewis of the home; one daughter and son-in-law, Tayler and Robert Amos of Spencer; one son, Shane Allen Lewis of Stella; one niece, Jean Elizabeth Hatcher and husband, Steven; and one nephew, Jerry Wayne Simpson.

A graveside service will be held Sunday, January 23, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Stella Christian Church Cemetery with Pastor Steve Hayes officiating. Online condolences may be sent to www.moodyfuneralservices.com.
