Mary Carter McCune

Mrs. Mary Carter McCune, age 60, of Elkin, NC passed away at her home on Thursday December 24, 2020. She was born in Gaston County, NC on February 5, 1960 to the late Red Carter and the late Margaret Payne Carter. She was a retired Textile Mill worker, and a homemaker.  Surviving is her husband Ronald Clarence “Ron” McCune; sons Michael Rhyne, Tim Wallace; daughters, Denise Farrington, Tami McCune and Rick Overcash, Christie Brannen, Kayla McCune; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sister, Pamela Blevins; brothers, Roy Carter, Carl Lee Carter A memorial service will be held 11:00 AM, Wednesday, December 30, 2020,  in the chapel of Moody-Davis Funeral Home, in Dobson, North Carolina.
