Mrs. Mary Lee Jackson Stewart, age 90, of Mt. Airy,  passed away on Thursday, January 25, 2024 at Central Continuing Care in Mt. Airy.  She was born on March 4, 1933 in Surry County to the late Charlie and Edna White Jackson.   Mrs. Stewart was retired from Renfro after many years of service.  She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who will surely be missed by all who knew her.  Left to cherish her memory are a daughters and son-in-law, Robin Collins (Dwayne), Michelle Smith; son and daughter-in-law, Donnie Inman (Debbie); grandchildren, Justin Collins (Samantha), Levi Collins (Grace), Carol Ryneski (John), Sammy Lewis (Lauren), Anthony Vaughn, Jennifer Vaughn, Timmothy Inman (Kristy) Kristi Inman, Kevin Inman, Shane Inman (Beverly); seventeen great-grandchildren.  In addition to her parents Mrs. Stewart was preceded in death by son, Randy Inman; sisters, Nellie Snow, Ann Adkins; brothers, Wayne, and Lonnie Jackson.  A graveside service will be held on Sunday, January 28, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Second Chance Church Cemetery in Dobson with service conducted by Rev. Terry Coe.  In lieu of flowers the family would, like to thank Central Continuing Care, and Mountain Valley Hospice for the care given during Mrs. Stewarts stay.
