Mary Gertrude Wall

Mrs. Mary Gertrude Whitt Wall, age 81, of Ararat, passed away on Saturday, January 25, 2020, at Forsyth Medical Center.  Mrs. Wall was born in Guilford County on November 22, 1938, to Robert and                 Whitt.  She was a loving and caring mother, grandmother and great grandmother who will be dearly missed.  Surviving are sons and a daughter-in-law, Junior Wall, Terry and Leigh Ann Wall; grandchildren, Tommy Wall and wife Lisa, Selina Bowman and husband Jason, Tracy Wall, Britney Busick and husband Josh, Zack Wall, Dustin Wall, Leigha Wall, Tyler Wall, Riley Wall; great-grandchildren, Adrianna Wall, Hannah Wall, Justin Bowman, Mason Busick, Brody Busick, Brady Wall, Seth Mathis, Peyton Bowman, Brayden Busick and Chilles Busick and a sister, Shirley Key.  In addition to her parents Mrs. Wall was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Wayne Wall; a son, Kent Wall sisters Dot Atkins, Hazel Whitt, and Mildred Whitt; and a brother, J. T. Whitt. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM, Wednesday, January 29, 2020, at Mount Zion Baptist Church by Rev. Kermit Gray, Rev. Ron Hall and Rev. Johnny Ables.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends Wednesday, at the church beginning at 11:00 AM.
