Mattie Belle Snow Belton

Mrs. Mattie Belle Snow Belton, of Lambsburg, VA, passed away Wednesday, January 6, 2010, at her home. Mrs. Belton was born June 13, 1934, in Surry County, to Frank and Cecil Spencer Snow. She was a loving homemaker, who will be dearly missed by her loved ones. Surviving are her husband, Clarence Belton of the home; a son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Lori Belton of Lambsburg, VA; two grandsons, David Lee Belton and wife, Rebecca, and Christopher Andrew Belton; three great-grandchildren, Thristan Belton, Dawson Belton, and Mason Belton; three sisters and a brother-in-law, Myrtle Moncus of Lambsburg, VA, Mary and Bill Belton of Winston-Salem, and Trusty Lineberry of Mount Airy; and two brothers and sisters-in-law, Jimmy and Maxine Snow of Lambsburg, VA, and Paul and Anita Snow of Cana, VA. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, January 8, 2010, at Skyline Memory Gardens, with the Rev. Dud Spencer officiating. There will not be a formal visitation at the funeral home.
