They moved to Mount Vernon, KY, where she lived for seven years until her return to Mount Airy.  Maud was named Outstanding Young Educator in Mount Airy City Schools in 1969. She was a long-time member of Grace Moravian Church, where she served on the Board of Elders. She enjoyed playing bridge, volunteering, serving with non-profit organizations, and church functions.  She is preceded in death by her parents, Roy Morrison and Thelma (Jones Morrison) Ford; brother, Lee Morrison; and husbands Bill Coble and Bill Randolph.  She is survived by her sons, John Gray Coble (Denise) of Mount Airy and Scott Morrison Coble (Melody) of Saint Augustine, FL; brother, Mason Morrison of Berea, KY; grandchildren, Tia McMillan, Chrissy West, Mitchell Coble, and Alex Coble; great-grandchildren, Addie West, Hudson Coble, Lucas McMillan, and Abby Nina; and a host of extended family members who loved and supported her throughout her life.  Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday February 7, 2019, at Grace Moravian Church by Dr. Neil Routh.
