Maudie Coe Stanley

Mrs. Maudie Coe Stanley, age 86, of Dobson, NC passed away at the Joan & Howard Hospice Home, in Dobson, NC on Sunday morning, August 8, 2021. She was born in Surry County on May 23, 1935, to the late Wilson Coe and to Maude Coe. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Stanley; son, Danny Stanley; sisters, Maybell Coe Schaum, Flo Coe Ford, Norma Jean Coe Williams, Peggy Coe Wishon; brothers, Greer Coe, Joe Bill Coe, Gurney Coe, Kent Coe. Maudie retired from Hanes and was a member of Anchored in Jesus Baptist Church. Surviving is her daughter and son-in-law, Ann and Tony Benge; grandchildren, Darren Barker, Daryl Barker, Derick Barker, Toni Tolbert, Daniel Stanley; great-grandchildren, Isabella Stanley, Jessica Mullins, Tyler Barker, Dustin Kidd, Sid Barker, Austin Barker, Morgan Barker, Dalton Church, Mackenzie Barker, Hunner Tolbert, Cason Tolbert, Reagynn Barker, Weston Tolbert; brother Eddie Coe, Raymond Coe. A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM on August 11, 2021, at Anchored in Jesus Baptist Church, with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Rev. Larry Stone, Rev. Derick Barker, Rev. Justin Norman will officiate the services. Mrs. Stanley will lie in state from 10:30 AM until the time of service. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening August 10, 2021, at Moody-Davis Funeral Home from 6 until 8 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Joan & Howard Woltz Hospice Home, 945 Zephyr Road, Dobson, NC 27017.
