Mazie Ann Hawks

Miss Mazie Ann Hawks age 76 of Mount Airy, passed away on Sunday October 7, 2007 at the Winston-Salem Rehabilitation Center. Miss Hawks was born in Carroll County on February 27, 1931 daughter of the late John Jefferson Hawks and Lula Frances Cagle Hawks. Surviving are two sisters, Dorothy Martin and Margie Carter both of Mount Airy. In addition to her parents, Miss Hawks was preceded in death by two sisters, Hazel Mitchell and Vesta Childress. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 9, 2007 at 11:00 AM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel. The service will be conducted by Rev. Robert McCrary with burial to follow in the Marion Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Moody Funeral Home on Tuesday from 9:30 AM until time for the service.
