Melquiades Ruiz

Mr. Melquiades Ruiz, 89, of Elkin, North Carolina passed away Friday, August 16, 2024. Born May 21, 1935 in Guanajuato, Mexico to the late Secario Ruiz and Marcelia Torres. Left to cherish his memory is his sons Jaime Ruiz, and Antonio Ruiz; grandchildren, Jessia Ruiz, and Adan Ruiz; and great grandchildren, Jairo Talavera-Ruiz, German Talavera-Ruiz, Josue Talavera-Ruiz, Viancia Talavera-Ruiz, and Lui Manuel Talavera-Ruiz. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Josefina Villegas Moya. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, August 20th, 2024, at 12:00 PM at Divine Redeemer Catholic Church. The family will receive friends from 10:00 – 12:00 PM before the service. Burial will follow the service in the Second Chance Church Cemetery. Moody-Davis Funeral Service in Dobson, North Carolina is serving the Ruiz Family.
