Melvin Clodfelter

Mr. Melvin Clodfelter, age 60, of Mt. Airy passed away on Saturday, September 11, 2021, at Northern Regional Hospital in Mt. Airy. He was born in Randolph County on April 25, 1961, to the late Roy Junior and Verna Bullins Clodfelter. Left to cherish his memories are his wife, Lynn Clodfelter; children, Dawn Upchurch Combs and husband James, Shane Clodfelter; grandchildren, Addi Mae Upchurch and Landon Linville; sisters, Tammy Smith and Sandra Robbins; brothers and sisters-in-law, Jeff Clodfelter, Mike and Mellnee Clodfelter, Richard and Loretta Clodfelter; several nieces and nephews and a special friend, Tim Hawks. In addition to his parents, Mr. Clodfelter was preceded in death by a brother Randy Clodfelter. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 15, 2021, at 2:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home in Mt. Airy with services conducted by Rev. Ben Smith and Rev. Joe Pyles. Burial will follow at the People Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until time for the service at Moody Funeral Home in Mt. Airy.
