Mr. Michael Wayne Hall, "Pickle," 40, of Cana, VA, was called home Wednesday, March 12, 2008, in Cana, VA. Mr. Hall was born June 29, 1967, in Surry County, to Shirley W. Hall and the late Wayne Edward Hall. He was an experienced carpenter and was of the Baptist faith. Pickle loved everyone and was loved by everyone who knew him. Surviving are his wife, Rhonda Fleming Hall of Cana, VA; a son, Braydon Michael Hall of Cana, VA; a daughter, Martina Victoria Hall of Cana, VA; a grandchild, Payton Alexander Peeples of Cana, VA; a stepdaughter, Elizabeth White; his mother, Shirley W. Hall and Michael's stepdad, Burley G. Johnson of the home; two sisters, Vicky A. Hall and fiance, Steven Hall, of Fancy Gap, VA, and Tammy H. Mabe and husband, Mitchel, of Ararat, VA; nieces and nephews, Michael Lee Buck, Emily Buck, Christy Talbert and husband, Chris, and Kayla Hill; great nephew, Logan Talbert; special friends, Michael Hiatt, Michael R. Buck, Greg Parries, Brad Edwards, Jimmy Nester, Mark Beamer, Seldon Hurst, Greg McCraw, and Lindsey Vernon; and several aunts and uncles. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, March 15, 2008, at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mount Airy, The service will be conducted by the Rev. Roy Quesenberry and the Rev. Dennis Barnette. Burial will follow in the Hall Family Cemetery in Cana, VA. The family will receive friends Friday night from 7:00 to 9:00 at the funeral home, and other times at the home of Mr. Hall's mother, 562 Cedarwood Drive, Cana. VA.
