Michael James Riffe, II

Mr. Michael James Riffe, II, 32, of 870 Imogene Church Road, Lowgap, passed away Saturday, May 10, 2008, at his home. He was born July 11, 1975, in Welch, WV, to Michael C. and Sheila Snow Riffe. He was employed as a temporary worker with Astro and a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Surviving are a daughter, Angel Lynne Riffe of Galloway, OH; a son, Michael James Riffe, III of Galloway, OH; his parents, Michael C. and Sheila Snow Riffe of Lowgap; a brother, Christopher S. Riffe of Kimball, WV; his paternal grandmother, Lovada Riffe of War, WV; a niece, Mckaylie Riffe of Kimball, WV; and a sister-in-law, Amanda Riffe of Kimball, WV. Mr. Riffe was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, James Hoke and Myrtle Church Snow; and his paternal grandfather, Rufus C. Riffe. The funeral service will be held Tuesday, May 13, 2008, at 1:00 PM at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. The service will be conducted by Bishop David P. Hiatt, and burial will follow in the New Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home in Mount Airy.
