Michael Dennis Moore

Mr. Michael Dennis Moore Age 60 of 400 Surry Manor Apt. Dobson, NC. passed away Monday November 14, 2011 at his home. Mr. Moore was born May 22, 1951 in Surry County to the late George and Lula Maude Flinchum Moore, he was a longtime mechanic and attended Day Springs Baptist Chapel. Surviving are one daughter and son-in-law Michelle and Steve Bottoms of Ararat, NC., two grandchildren, Austin Bottoms and Ashley Bottoms both of Ararat, NC., three sisters and brothers-in-law Jeanette and Owen Barber and Kathleen Shackelford all of Mt. Airy and Magdalene and Darrell Lintinie of Welcome, one brother and sisters-in-law Joe and Judy Moore of Lowgap, Nancy Moore and Peggy Dollyhigh both of Mt. Airy and his former wife Linda Moore of Mt. Airy. In addition to his parents Mr. Moore was preceded in death by a sister Geneva Amburn and by two brothers Charles Moore and Melvin Moore. Funeral services will be held Thursday November 17, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. at the Oak Grove Baptist Church with services conducted by Rev. Joe Atkins and Rev. Roger Pickett with burial to follow in the Round Peak Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday night 6 to 8 P.M. at Oak Grove Baptist Church.
